About the guest speakers: Peter Butler, Principal at Valtrend, LLC in Eagle, Idaho has more than 20 years of diverse financial and business valuation experience. Peter earned the prestigious Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation. He also holds the Accredited Senior Appraiser (ASA) designation in business valuation from the American Society of Appraisers. Peter has valued both privately held companies and publicly traded securities for a variety of purposes. His published articles have appeared in all of the major U.S. business valuation journals. He has spoken at numerous regional, national and international business valuation conferences. Sheila Spangler is the principal and founder of Capital Strategies, a business advisory company which guides aspiring entrepreneurs and existing business owners through the buy, sell, valuation, loan packaging and financing process. Sheila is a graduate of Pacific Coast Banking School at the University of Washington and obtained the Certified Business Intermediary designation from the International Business Brokers Association. She holds an active Idaho real estate broker license. She also has an extensive background in commercial lending, including SBA startup, acquisition and expansion financing. Sheila is a licensed agent with Murphy Business & Financial Corporation LLC.
